Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Seton Catholic Central Saints (Binghamton, NY), 72-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Susquehanna Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sabers host Oneonta (Oneonta, NY) to play the Yellowjackets in a Section 4 Southern Tier - East bout on Friday, December 16. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Saints play the Chenango Forks Blue Devils (Binghamton, NY) in a bout, on Friday, December 16. Seton Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 64-42 league win over Norwich (Norwich, NY).
