Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Horizon Christian upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Regis (Stayton, OR) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Regis won 76-54 in their recent non-league bout against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR)

Next up, the Warriors play the Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Warrenton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 57-28 non-league loss to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR).
