In Wednesday's league challenge, the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) ice hockey team nipped the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), by a margin of 3-2.

The Rebels now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 2 challenge on Saturday, December 16. South Kingstown will play a Chieftains team coming off a 6-3 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-0.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons come into the Division 2 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cranston West was edged by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 3-2, in a league challenge.
