The Lakewood Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Blaine Borderites to 26 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nooksack Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Lakewood will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.

The Borderites (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Squalicum was routed by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 66-31, in a non-league contest.
