The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) and the visiting Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY), observed McLean County's basketball team knock off Muhlenberg County by a score of 66-56.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Evansville Day (Evansville, IN). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Evansville Day was knocked off by Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL), 56-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Muhlenberg County will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
