The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Flying Lions come into the 1A Triangle North challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Excelsior Classical Academy was routed by Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC), 42-16, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pride encounter the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Henderson Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 58-30 non-league win over Granville Central (Stem, NC).
