In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored a big 82-46 triumph over the Medford Tigers.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 1 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Kingsland was trounced by Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN), 53-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Medford will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Blackhawks go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 62-42 non-league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN).
