The Manteca Buffaloes soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Merced Bears to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Friday.

The Buffaloes now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a Valley Oak League bout on Monday, December 16. Manteca will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bullard (Fresno, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Merced moves to 2-4 on the year. The Bears host Pitman (Turlock, CA) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Pitman won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Union (Manteca, CA)
