The Hammond Morton Governors basketball team (Hammond, IN), was overwhelmed 88-27 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN)

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Central for a Duneland battle on Friday, December 16. Crown Point will confront a Indians team coming off a 61-27 league win over Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Indians record now stands at 7-1.

The Governors (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Notre Dame Academy was overwhelmed by Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN), 47-41, in a non-league battle.
