Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moultrie, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders (Albany, GA), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Colquitt Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Byne Christian (Albany, GA) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Crusaders play the First Academy Lions (Douglas, GA) in a GAPPS - I-A Region 4B bout, on Monday, December 18. St. Teresa's Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA).
