The Gilpin County Eagles basketball squad (Black Hawk, CO), was outscored 44-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Peyton Panthers (Peyton, CO)

With the victory, Peyton advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Manual (Denver, CO) to meet the Thunderbolts in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Thunderbolts enter the battle with a record of 2-0.

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kiowa for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19.
