California High School Basketball - Vasquez winner over Desert Christian

The Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) basketball felled the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), 38-20 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their test against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins go into the Heritage test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy was beaten by Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA), 41-23, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to United Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Desert Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 42-24 league win over California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
