Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North East succumbs to Northwestern

December 15, 2022: Albion, PA 16401

The Northwestern Wildcats topped the visiting North East Grape Pickers basketball team by a final score of 44-32 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 54-46 non-league win over Union City (Union City, PA).

With the defeat, North East moves to 1-3 on the year. The Grape pickers host Iroquois (Erie, PA) to face the Braves in a District 10 Region 3 game on Monday, December 19. The Braves enter the game with a record of 2-2. Iroquois lost 35-30 in their recent league game against Titusville (Titusville, PA)
