Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 63-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tuscaloosa County upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Leeds (Leeds, AL) to play the Greenwave in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Greenwave come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Leeds won 74-57 in their recent non-league bout against Southeastern (Remlap, AL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Calera will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Minor (Adamsville, AL).
