Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 70-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Liberty Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Heat host Oakwood (Greenville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Oakwood lost 74-12 in their recent league bout against Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Mariners come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC).
