University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chandler Park Academy Eagles (Harper Woods, MI), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, University Prep upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Academy for Business & Tech (Melvindale, MI) to play the Gators in a Freelance bout on Monday, December 18. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Eagles play the Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI) in a Charter bout, on Monday, December 18. Chandler Park Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
