Maryland High School Basketball - Mercersburg Academy thwarted by St. Andrew's Episcopal

The Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm basketball team (Mercersburg, PA), dropped 56-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD)

The Lions now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland Mills for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. St. Andrew's Episcopal will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 55-13 league win over Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-2.

The Blue Storm (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, St. Anne's-Belfield beat St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA), 84-30, in a league battle.
