The Casey County Rebels basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Rockcastle County Rockets to 56 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluegrass United for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Casey County will meet a Bluehawks team coming off a 67-66 non-league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Bluehawks record now stands at 7-6.

The Rockets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Scotties enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Glasgow was nudged by Adair County (Columbia, KY), 76-74, in a non-league contest.
