Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN) and the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Mayer Lutheran by a count of 72-42.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Mayer Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Sibley East (Arlington, MN).
