The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was routed 71-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX)
The Cadets now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mexia for a non-league battle on Monday, December 19. Connally will battle a Black Cats team coming off a 68-29 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Black Cats record now stands at 12-3.
