The South Hills Scorpions basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Western Hills Cougars to 57 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Friday.

The Scorpions now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trimble Tech for a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, December 20. South Hills will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 78-42 non-league loss to Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.

The Cougars (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region II District 9 match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Carter-Riverside nudged Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX), 57-49, in a non-league match.
