The Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) basketball knocked off the host Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY), 60-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tomcats (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Rowan County notched a victory over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY), 53-39, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Bracken County for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28.
