Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Guyer upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to play the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Blue Hawks come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Rock Hill lost 53-35 in their recent league bout against McKinney (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Lobos play the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Little Elm will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 53-32 league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX).
