The Blaine Bengals basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Champlin Park Rebels to 51 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bengals now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Blaine will meet a Packers team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Packers record now stands at 3-5.
The Rebels (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, St. Michael-Albertville ran past Chaska (Chaska, MN), 71-52, in a non-league contest.
