Spectators at Saturday's non-league contest between the Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI) and the visiting Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT), saw Portsmouth Abbey's ice hockey squad knock off Vermont Academy by a count of 4-1.

With the victory, Portsmouth Abbey moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) to face the Penguins in a contest on Friday, January 5. The Penguins come into the battle with a record of 7-1.

The Wildcats (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Tilton School (Tilton, NH). The Rams come into the battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Tilton School by Brooks (North Andover, MA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
