Louisiana High School Basketball - Amite knocked off by Hammond

December 17, 2022: Amite, LA 70422

The Hammond Tornadoes basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Amite Warriors to 41 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thibodaux for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22.

The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Scotlandville was defeated by Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
