With the victory, Wharton upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bellville (Bellville, TX) to play the Brahmas in a 4A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Brahmas come into the bout with a record of 1-8. Bellville lost 46-26 in their recent league bout against Royal (Brookshire, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Northside Panthers (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Galena Park will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 64-20 non-league loss to Westside (Houston, TX).
