Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montour knocked off by Quaker Valley

The Quaker Valley Quakers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Montour Spartans to 35 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Quakers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avonworth for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Quaker Valley will meet a Antelopes team coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Antelopes record now stands at 2-1.

The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Seton LaSalle was defeated by Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA), 51-50, in a non-league contest.
