The Western Branch Bruins got by the visiting Glen Allen Jaguars basketball squad by a final score of 61-60 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bruins clash with the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern outing, on Friday, December 20. Western Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 83-57 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).

The Jaguars (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Titans come into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Cosby held off Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 48-38, in a non-league outing.
