Texas High School Basketball - Sundown routs Smyer

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored a big 53-18 win over the Smyer Bobcats.

The Roughnecks (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plains (Plains, TX). The Cowboys come into the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Plains was trounced by Olton (Olton, TX), 51-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Morton Indians (Morton, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 contest, on Friday, December 20. Smyer will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 61-32 league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
