Nebraska High School Basketball - Anselmo-Merna triumphant over Overton

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) and the visiting Overton Eagles (Overton, NE), observed Anselmo-Merna's basketball team overwhelm Overton by a score of 66-27.

The Coyotes (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mullen (Mullen, NE). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Mullen trounced Hyannis (Hyannis, NE), 49-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Overton will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 60-19 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE).
