The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) and the visiting Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), observed Blacklick Valley's basketball team knock off Glendale by a score of 46-33.

The Vikings (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, West Branch was knocked off by Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA), 46-12, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a Inter County - North challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Glendale will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Golden Tide come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 49-38 non-league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
