The West Springfield Terriers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host East Longmeadow Spartans to 41 in the Terriers non-league victory on Monday.

The Terriers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst-Pelham Regional for a Suburban contest on Thursday, December 22. West Springfield will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 72-34 league win over Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-1.

The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Easthampton/Hampshire walloped Palmer (Palmer, MA), 76-59, in a non-league test.
