The Flinthills Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Bluestem Lions to 28 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classical for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Flinthills will meet a Saints team coming off a 48-31 league loss to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS). The Saints record now stands at 4-3.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Elk (Howard, KS). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, West Elk was outscored by Fredonia (Fredonia, KS), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
