William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Islip Musketeers (Central Islip, NY), 59-30 in a league bout.
With the win, William Floyd upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Colonials host Longwood (Middle Island, NY) to play the Lions in a Section 11 AAA-1 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Longwood lost 66-59 in their recent league bout against Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY)
Next up, the Musketeers play the Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) in a Section 11 AAA-1 bout, on Saturday, January 20. Central Islip will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
