The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) and the visiting Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR), observed Spring Hill's basketball team overwhelm Genoa Central by a margin of 58-24.

The Bears (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Go-Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Gurdon was trounced by Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR), 39-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) in a 3A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Genoa Central will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 56-53 league win over Prescott (Prescott, AR).
