The West Union Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ashland Blue Devils to 21 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3.

The Blue Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Rebels enter the 1A Region 3 contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Hickory Flat was routed by Myrtle (Myrtle, MS), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
