South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun County knocked off by Midland Valley

The Midland Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Calhoun County Saints to 49 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Midland Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
The Saints (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Woodland ran past Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC), 62-48, in a non-league contest.
