Georgia High School Basketball - Valdosta holds off Westover

December 2, 2022: Valdosta, GA 31602

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA) and the visiting Westover Patriots (Albany, GA), saw Valdosta's basketball squad hold off Westover by a tally of 60-55.

With the victory, Valdosta improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Tift County (Tifton, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Tift County won 59-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Cook (Adel, GA)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Westover will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 48-47 non-league loss to Westover (Albany, GA).
