California High School Basketball - Academy of Careers & Exploration can't hold off Academy for Academic Excellence

The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle to 34 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hesperia Christian for a Cross Valley contest on Tuesday, December 6. Academy for Academic Excellence will battle a Patriots team coming off a 55-18 non-league loss to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-3.
The Eagle (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy was nudged by Colton (Colton, CA), 46-30, in a non-league contest.
