Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) and the visiting Country Christian Cougars (Molalla, OR), saw Crane's basketball squad hold off Country Christian by a count of 62-59.

With the victory, Crane upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Lake (Silver Lake, OR) to play the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Columbia Christian Knights (Portland, OR) in a 1A Valley 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Country Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
