The River Ridge Knights basketball team (Woodstock, GA), was toppled 70-61 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA)
The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pepperell for a A D1 Region 7 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Darlington will confront a Dragons team coming off a 50-47 league win over Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs come into the AAAAAA Region 6 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah beat Cherokee (Canton, GA), 84-76, in a non-league battle.
