Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA), 63-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olympia upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-0. South Kitsap won 76-64 in their recent non-league bout against Rogers (Puyallup, WA)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) in a 3A South Sound bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 67-47 non-league loss to Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA).
