The Gillespie Miners were victorious over the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 47-37 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Miners face the Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) in a South Central outing, on Thursday, December 5. Gillespie will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 5-0 record after their 59-53 non-league win over PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL).

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers enter the MSM outing with a 1-5 record.
