Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southridge upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Skyhawks host Aloha (Beaverton, OR) to play the Warriors in a 6A Metro bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Pacers play the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Lakeridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Black Tornado go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 61-53 non-league loss to Sunset (Portland, OR).
