The Triangle Lake Lakers routed the visiting Falls City Mountaineers basketball team by a final score of 45-12 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lakers face the Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR) in a 1A Mountain West game, on Tuesday, January 4. Triangle Lake will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Sailors enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 47-6 non-league loss to Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR).

With the defeat, Falls City moves to 1-4 on the year.
