The Cherry Creek Bruins basketball team (Greenwood Village, CO), dropped 54-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO)

The Eagles now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4. Valor Christian will confront a Patriots team coming off a 54-35 non-league loss to Edge (Calgary, Alberta) (Sioux Falls, SD). The Patriots record now stands at 6-3.

The Bruins (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Ralston Valley beat Arapahoe (Centennial, CO), 54-47, in a non-league battle.
