King Charter Jaguar (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bogalusa Lumberjacks (Bogalusa, LA), 61-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, King Charter upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Jaguar travel to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy lost 44-34 in their recent non-league bout against Houma Christian (Houma, LA)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Bogalusa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 86-72 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA).
