Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) and the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), saw Smithfield's basketball squad crush Cranston East by a margin of 43-9.

The Sentinels (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI). The Kilties go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.

The Thunderbolts now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston West for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
