Royal Knights (Royal City, WA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA), 49-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Royal advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-4. Mt. Spokane lost 68-40 in their recent non-league match against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Selah for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Cashmere will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 60-21 league win over Ephrata (Ephrata, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
